Assassin's Creed: Lineage (short movies)

Anybody watched the first part yet? ( on alluc of course, dundundunn.. )

what do you guys think? don't think any publisher has used something like that as a way to promote a new game. Very smart heads these ubisoft guys ^-^ also the movie has been done with ubisoft's hybride technology which has been used in sin city and 300 too, so.. yay! awesome!

imho it was quite entertaining, it gives some background infos on what'll happen in AC2 and also there are two parts yet to come, i'm really looking forward to them.. and to the game of course

but i heard it's only available on youtube for limited time (of course piracy will take it's course) .. what do you think about that? why do they do this? do they plan to use the short films commercially? or maybe even produce a "real" movie at some point? .. or maybe it's just on a bonus dvd in the collectors edition for the game and they want it to stay an exclusive gift for hardcore fans... who knows?
